pregnancy and scrapbooking/baby-booking?
Jackie B asked:
I have a question that I’m sure someone could help me with. I’m currently pregnant and want to start working on my baby book. How would I go about attaching photos, etc in it? Glue? And is there a safe glue? Obviously rubber cement is out. Or is there some other type adhesive/tape that you would recommend instead? I do work near a scrapbooking
store, I just wouldn’t know where to start or if that’s even the way to go.
Help? : )

I think the scrap booking store is the perfect place to start, plus the employees should be able to help get you started and be able to answer your questions. I made my own wedding album scrapbook style and went to a local store and the lady was so helpful, like you at the time I had no clue where to begin but was soon on the road the to scrap booking addiction.

I’m working on my baby book too! Craft stores or scrap booking stores are the way to go. I wouldn’t use glue as it might leave the back of the page looking kind of funny. All craft/scrapbooking stores sell little double sided squares for adhering pictures. If you want something a little fancier, they also have photo corners which are sticky on the back and you just push the corners of your picture into them.

Do not use elmer’s glue or any kind of liquid glue.
You need a tape runner. It is a two sided sticky tape that is a little narrower than regular tape. There is many different kinds.
You could use tape tabs, I find them too time consuming to use, but they are cheaper.
Stop by your scrapbook store.
